Human Senses and Emotions
An instrument to measure the external environment and effectively perceive it, in order to achieve optimum results. Here by result I mean the ultimate purpose of the species i.e survival and domination of its environment. The fact that we have the power to judge and have control over the primitive urges within us has made us most known successful species. But the fallacy of this species is it fails to realize this very fact and gives more importance to the senses than its usage.

Evolution
First I would like to correlate between simplicity and complexity, then we can move on to evolution.
Complexity is simplicity reinvented. Nothing is complex if you start seeing it from its root (its basic principle), which is always simplistic. So an complex entity can be described as the combination of many simple entities, it is the "combination" which is the core of evolution.
We are nothing but a combination of life-form that was successful (survive and adapt) to its environment. The measure of success of a life form is how well it survives and is able to perpetuate itself. Though humans have not been around for a long time their ability to adapt quickly to the evironment has made them such a dominant species of this planet.
How did a complex organism as ourselves emerge from a single-celled organism, it is in my opinion not by accident but series of combinations that led to "us", the one true drive was to create a creature that had a higher probability to survive, through the harshest of times and hence we emerged.
Evolution has demonstrated that being big and strong like the dinosaurs may let it survive for billions of years but only with its primal instincts, it had to perish one way or another. But humans evovled a characteristic called "thinking", Our ability to think,to perceive and understand our environment and not only adapt to it but also modify the environment to our convenience, this gave us the edge over other species to evovle into this magnificent creature called humans, the complexity perhaps unparalleled in nature (atleast on earth). But even we might one day perish if we do not learn to survive in space if not move on to another planet because at the rate at which we are depleting the natural resources, we will one day face great catastrophes not only due to fierce competition within ourselves but also due to natural imbalances and threats.

The observation, identification, description, experimental investigation, and theoretical explanation of phenomena. This is the fundamental purpose of science, I intend to observe and try to infer and probably draw to some conclusions and share it with everybody through this blog.
My name is Jaya Prakash Narayan, I am a software professional. I am interested in Quantum Physics and any fascinating and intriguing topic in sciences be it biological or related to physics. I am especially bewildered by the functioning of brain and the vast reaches of outer space which I hope to learn more about.
